Spinal Flow
Spinal Flow technique is a powerfully effective touch based modality that helps relieve pain, stress, disease and illness. It is not a massage or myotherapy treatment. It works on the dura mater.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Spinal Flow works on the connective tissue called dura mater. Dura mater is the tough outer layer of tissue that covers and protects the brain and spinal cord and is closest to the skull. In Spinal Flow the practitioner gently touches access points which are areas of ease located on the areas of dural attachment within the spine. These access points are mainly in the sacrum and the cranium.
WHAT HAPPENS?
Within all of us we have an innate wisdom, an inborn intelligence that keeps a record of every trauma (stressor) that we absorb within our spine as we go through life. By helping the dura mater this automatically creates ease and unleashes a spinal wave which releases these blockages within the gateways of the spine.
WHAT ARE THE 7 GATEWAYS?
The 7 gateways of the spine surround one of the most important organs of the body - your nervous system. It is essential that there is ease and full movement in each gateway for your health and healing to happen. Full movement and flexibility allows the nerves to flow out to all the organs and cells of your body which encourages health and healing.
WHAT ARE STRESSORS (BLOCKAGES) ?
When your Spinal Flow practitioner looks and feels someone's spine they can tell how many layers of stress and tension has been stored. These stored layers can be PHYSICAL, CHEMICAL or EMOTIONAL stressors. By helping someone heal we are effectively peeling back the layers so you can connect to your LIFE FORCE. It is the practitioners role assess the blockages, where they are stored, and help release them.
HOW TO FACILITATE SPINAL FLOW?
Spinal flow can be done in various different positions depending on each situation. You can be fully clothed and face down is ideal. However If a client is pregnant, post surgery, sprain/strain which makes it uncomfortable to lay face down, on the side is also very effective. If paralysed or with broken ribs spinal flow it is then conducted on your back or seated. It even can work in a wheel chair.
3 STAGES OF CARE.
First level - is to try and have 2 sessions a week initially to start the process going.
Second level - reducing visits to 1 session a week. This goes into more emotional trauma. The client is very aware of the body changes and can feel the difference. The client may set another intension.
Third level of care - this might be 3-4 weekly monthly maintenance.
