Turmeric Paste
Ingredients
- 250 g of fresh Turmeric chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
- pinch of finely ground Himalayan salt
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of filtered water
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Directions
In a blender masticate the turmeric then add all the ingredients. You may need more water depending on the turmeric. If you are using it that night you may not add the honey. If you are wanting to ferment it add the honey and press into a glass jar. Seal the jar air lock tight and let it sit on the bench for up to 5 days . Then when. it smells strong and still clean, but a little sour, put it in the refrigerator.
