Smoothie Bowls
Blue Berry Bliss
Blend
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- One Banana
- 1/2 Kiwifruit with Skin
- 1 teaspoon of Chia seeds
- Rice Milk( option to have diluted)
- 1 Desertspoon of Collagen powder
Toppings
- Pepita seeds
- Coconut
- One slice of Kiwifruit
- Sliced Strawberries
Layered Smoothie
Layer one
- Chia pudding made with one cup of milk (almond or rice)
- 3 tablespoons of Chia seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup
- Thin slice of Kiwifruit snapped as a heart
Trick to sticking fruit to side is slice fruit really thin and make sure the glass is dry. Mix together well and pour into glass. Let it stand overnight in the fridge.
Layer two
- one frozen banana
- 1/4 teaspoon of spirilina powder
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- Mint leaves to decorate
Blend all layer two ingredients together. Pour Layer two once blended onto of layer one. Decorate with mint
Canteloupe Craze
Blend
- 3/4 cup of Canteloupe
- 3 Basil Leaves
- One Banana
- I scoop of Biomedica Rice Protein
- 10 walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- Almond Milk
- 3 heaped desertspoons of Goat's Yoghurt
Toppings
- Food For Health -chia cinnamon fruit free clusters
- One Banana Sliced
- 3 Basil leaves
- Coconut Chips
- Lavender to decorate
Emma's Acai
Blend
- 1 sachet frozen acai pulp
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
Toppings
- ½-1 cup granola ( see below for recipe)
- 1/3 cup water or plant-based milk of choice.
- Fruit of choice to top
Emma's Granola
Ingredients:
- 3-4 cups Oats ( use gluten free oats as an option)
- ½ cup Pumpkin seeds/pepitas
- Desiccated coconut
- ½ cup Walnuts (crushed)
- ¾-1 cup Activated buckwheat (buckinis)
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup/rice malt syrup/honey if needed (GOAL: to go without sweetener- just use fruit on top)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Any other nuts/seeds/grains that you may want to experiment with.
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Starting with the oats as a base, layer all ingredients in an oven proof tray. (Usually 30cm by 30cm tray with 1-2cm deep layer will last 1 week for 1—2 people).
- Drizzle maple syrup/rice malt/honey over mixture (or water for no sweetener). Mix with hands so it is evenly spread throughout the mixture.
- Press down onto mixture to get any air pockets out. It may start to look like a slice.
- Toast in oven for 5 minutes, before mixing to ensure all is toasted well. Check in another 5 minutes and it should be just about ready.
