Protein Nut Balls - Appropriate for people doing Ketogenic eating plans
Ingredients
- 6 Tablespoons of Protein Powder ( Pea, Rice or Whey)
- 1/2 cup of almonds and pepitas
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 2 tablespoon of natural nut butter( almond, organic peanut butter or ABC spread)
- 2 tablespoons of carob powder
- Little Water to mix
Directions
I mixed all of the ingredients together in a thermomix adding enough water to form into balls. Mix in water, a little at a time, so the consistency is just right.
Roll the mixture into little balls . Refrigerate or freeze for one hour before serving.
I sprinkled a little more carob on top. They can be kept in the fridge for up to 5 days.
