Japanese Curry Powder
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon of cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon of coriander powder
- 3 bay leaves dried
- 2 teaspoons of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of garlic powder or dried chives
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of cardamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper cracked
- 1/2 teaspoon of nigella seed
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a thermomix and cook for 5 minutes /100 degrees with measuring cup off. Scape down the sides and then blend for 2minutes/speed 9 with measuring cup on.
Without a thermo mix add all ingredient to a dry non stick pan on medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes. Then grind it up finely in a mortar and pestle.
Store in a jar.
