Taco Seasoning
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1/4 cup Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 cup Chilli Flakes
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Himalayan Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
Makes approx. 1 cup, add more or less of each herb to match style of taste.
3 tablespoons of this mix will equal 1 sachet of packet taco mix.
Ranch Dressing
- 1 tbsp Dill
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 1/2 tsp (Ground) Pepper
- 1/3 cup Coconut yogurt/Goat's yogurt
- 1/4 cup Coconut Milk/Goat's Milk/Almond Milk
Mix until well combined.
Curry Powder
- 1/2 cup Paprika
- 1/4 cup Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Coriander
- 1/4 cup Ground Tumeric
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Cardamon
- 1 tbsp (Ground) Fennel
Optional Extras
- 1/2 tbsp Chilli Flakes (spiciness)
- 2 tsp fenugreek (sweetness)
Can be used on vegetables, lentils, stews and meats.
Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- 1 Fresh lemon (juice or lemon zest)
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1tsp Himalayan Salt
Note: If using fresh lemon it cannot be stored.
Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Oregano
- 1/2 cup Marjoram
- 1/4 cup Rosemary
- 1/2 cup Basil
- 1/4 cup Thyme
Can be used in nearly anything! Think herb bread, lasagna, pastas, pasta sauces.
Fajita seasoning
- 1/4 cup Chilli flakes
- 1tsp Himalayan Salt
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cayenne Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
Use approximately 1tsp per chicken breast or similar portion of lentils/tofu.
****All of the above recipes can substitute garlic, onion with asafoetida (a low fructose herb).
