Benjamin Osborn completed his diploma in Remedial Massage in 2018, he is a graduate of Australian College of Fitness and Bodywork and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy, expecting to have studies finished by the middle of 2019.
With a background in youth work and community service Benjamin has spent many years caring for and listening to disadvantaged young people, his presence is grounded and stable, creating a safe environment to relax and let go of any tension or trauma that is stored inside the body.
Benjamin was inspired to pursue a career in bodywork after a serious skydiving accident which left him with a shattered pelvis, broken transverse process in his lumber spine and a broken pubis, Benjamin had debilitating lower back pain for several years before finding a Remedial Massage therapist in 2010 who was able to apply techniques that removed the trauma stored in his body from the accident. Within 6 months Benjamin was pain free and couldn’t feel there was ever any damage to his body. The remedial therapist Benjamin went to see became his Bodywork mentor and has been teaching him bodywork techniques for the past 6 years. Benjamin hopes to share these skills with his clients, offering them an opportunity to reconnect and realign with their bodies.
Benjamin seeks to help people dealing with pain from an injury, postural imbalances, restricted flexibility, mental stress and anxiety, surgery rehabilitation and a wide range of other issues that restrict the body, causing pain and imbalances.
